Currently in my 20th year of teaching.
I am vying for the TBU EARAO position because:
1. I am passionate about dismantling all types of racism and advancing the causes of equity, diversity and inclusion.
2. I want to bring knowledge and experience I garner from serving on Provincial OSSTF Addressing Anti-Black Racism/Racism Committee to our TBU and help the TBU advocate strongly for equity measures within UCDSB for all equity seeking groups.
3. I am a current member of the District26 TBU Equity, Anti-Racism and Anti-Oppression Committee and want a leadership role which will give me opportunities to demand Equity accountability directly from UCDSB management on behalf of TBU equity seeking members.
