Henry Looyen

Hello, my name is Henry Looyen, I have been a construction teacher with the UCDSB school board for almost 17 years. I began at Russell high school (5 Years), and became the OSSTF health and safety rep year 2. Through some board training and direction from my principal at the time, I was able to understand what my responsibilities were and expand my knowledge from there.

Recently I have become more involved in OSSTF learning opportunities such as Health and Safety conferences as well as AMPA. I feel passionate about health and safety in the workplace and working hard to make a difference where needed. I would welcome the opportunity to be the District Health and Safety Officer.
