My name is Divina Hogan. I am a Music, Arts, Indigenous Studies and Special Education teacher at Almonte DHS. I have always believed that our Union is only as strong as the people in it, and that representation is important for all our members. My OSSTF experiences have included chairing and serving on several District 26 committees (CPAC, CFED-EARAO, Benevolent, SRC) as well as a local Teachers' Bargaining Unit Branch Steward and representing District 26 at AMPA. I have attended various Provincial and Equity conferences/workshops; participated in Equity & Diversity group caucas meetings, and I continue to show support and stand up at rallies for the many societal issues that directly affect us in public education. I am letting my name stand for this position because I feel that my experiences can well represent the voices of equity and diversity in our district.
