Susan Thorpe

My name is Susan Thorpe and I am running for District Educational Services Officer.

As an active member of District 26 for more than 16 years, I have held many positions at the district level and in my bargaining unit, including District Educational Services Officer and District Health & Safety Officer.

When I was District Educational Services Officer before, I worked with the committee to organise member workshops and prepare the planner for publication and distribution to members.

If elected, I will:
- continue to publish the planner
- develop a planner for occasional teachers
- offer a variety of workshops, including: on-boarding for new members, and others on topics in health and wellness, classroom practice, equity, and more.
