With 18 years of active involvement in OSSTF District 26, I am seeking re-election as District President to continue serving and advocating for all members across our district.
Over the past two years, I have had the privilege of serving as District President, representing members, supporting local leadership, and working collaboratively to address the challenges facing public education. Prior to this role, I served eight years as Branch Steward, four years as TBU Vice-President, and five years as Chair of the Educational Services Committee. I have also been an active member of the District CPAC Committee for over a decade and served two years on the Provincial CPAC Committee. Throughout my involvement, I have contributed to numerous district and provincial committees, often in leadership roles.
These experiences have given me a strong understanding of our union’s structure, the needs of our members, and the importance of clear, responsive, and transparent leadership. In a time of ongoing challenges in education, it is essential that our district remains united, informed, and proactive.
I am seeking re-election to continue building on the work we have done, while further developing my leadership skills in service of our members. I am committed to ensuring that all members feel heard, supported, and represented, and to advocating strongly for the rights, working conditions, and professional integrity of educators.
I would be honoured to continue serving as your District President.
