With 18 years of active involvement in OSSTF District 26, I am seeking the position of District Chair of CPAC to continue advancing meaningful political action on behalf of our members.
I have served on the District CPAC Committee for over a decade and spent two years on the Provincial CPAC Committee, gaining valuable insight into both local and broader political advocacy. In addition to this work, I bring extensive union experience, including four years as TBU Vice-President, eight years as Branch Steward, five years as Chair of the Educational Services Committee, and most recently as District President. I have also contributed to numerous district and provincial committees, often in leadership roles.
This breadth of experience has given me a strong understanding of how political decisions directly impact our working conditions, public education, and the communities we serve. With Ontario facing increasingly complex and, at times, turbulent political circumstances under Premier Doug Ford’s government, I believe this is a critical moment for CPAC to be active, visible, and strategic.
I am committed to strengthening member engagement in political action, building connections with community partners, and ensuring our voices are heard at all levels of government. I bring experience, institutional knowledge, and a clear passion for advocacy.
I look forward to the opportunity to lead CPAC during this important time and to support our members through strong, coordinated political action.
