Since becoming a member of OSSTF district 26, I have enjoyed learning about various aspects of union work, and enjoyed the position of Bargaining Unit Officer, CPAC committee member and chair. I would like to continue to serve on the District Executive in a different capacity, as Secretary. I am more familiar now with the processes of meetings and feel confident I could fulfill this role effectively.
