Hello D26 Members,
I am Wendy McFarlane, a teacher at North Grenville District High School. I am running to be one of your TBU Vice Presidents.
I have been engaged in union activities for several years, serving on the Educational Services Committee and CPAC as well as serving as my school's collective bargaining rep. I was a member of the local negotiating team for the last round of bargaining. Currently, I serve as secretary at the District Level and am a member of the Provincial Educational Services Committee.
I will bring my experience, both in union activities and 26 years as a classroom teacher, my understanding of the collective agreement, and my strong support for unionism to this position.
I would really appreciate your support and the chance to represent you at the TBU executive level.
