Thomas Hopkins

My name is Thomas Hopkins and I am applying for the position of Vice President of the OTBU the next two years.

 

I have served as your Vice President for the 2021-2022 years.

 

I’ve also been Secretary for the OTBU since 2020. I have served in several positions in the OTBU for many years and know the importance of this position. I can be there to support the President of the OTBU in times of need by its members involving members dealing with grievances or issues related to their employment.

 

I have first hand experience in dealing with HR rulings that affect our members. I am confident that when you need someone there to assist you, I’ll be there for you!

 

I work daily at various schools and have a “boots on the ground “ approach in support new and younger members of their duties and their rights in dealing with their employer.
