I first became OTBU President in July of 2014. I have tried to champion OT's with the Board and with the Provincial OSSTF. We have a very active group of other single OTBU presidents who fight for OT rights in their Districts. I would also like to see our new Collective Agreement come into place with proper enforcement, to solve the current problems with hiring of daily OT's over the unqualifieds, and to continue to advocate that experienced members be hired into LTO's. I am also cognizant that more succession planning is needed as I plan to retire in two years time.
